Hello! My name is Michael Childers the older “C” in CC’s Motorcycle Training, Inc. I was born in Orlando, Florida on May 28, 1957 and currently live in Satsuma, Florida with my wife of 23 years, Fern. We have four children who now have families of their own. We live on Dunns Creek in Putnam Countyand have always preferred the country life. I enjoy fishing, hunting, motorcycle riding, Nascar and football.
I served four years in the Army from 1975 to 1979 from which I was honorably discharged. At the time of my discharge my father owned his own roofing company and I began working for him. His business resolved in 1983 and I continued my career of 28 years in the roofing field. I am presently a superintendent for a large roofing company in north Florida.
I have been riding motorcycles since I was 9 years old when I was given my first Briggs and Stratton mini bike until present in which I ride a HD Ultra Classic.
Like my younger brother, I realizied that retirement from the roofing industry is a few years away, so I decided to begin working towards my next career goal. I have successfully completed the Basic Riders Course (BRC) , the Experienced Riders Course (ERC), and the Rider Caoach Prep (RCP) Course. I am a Certified Riders Coach with both the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) and the Florida Rider Training Program (FRTP).
We hope that you like our Company slogan “Honor the Ride” and “Get Certified” because it is truly a slogan that brings many ideas to mind. Our course will not only make you a certified rider, but by attending this course you will know all of the ins and outs of riding motorcycles, and how to protect yourself and those that are on the road around you. Many people will clearly see that you are an experienced rider by the way you display your knowledge that you have gained from this course.
So, spread the word that people should “Honor the Ride” and “Get Certified”. Tell all your friends about CC’s Motorcycle Training School and we hope to see you soon.
